Ok, back to the show. Two pairs of people have to create and run a restaurant service in 24 hours. The winner gets $10,000 to start their own restaurant. Some of the concepts these people have come up with are pretty interesting In a recent episode, one couple's restaurant name was "& Jelly"; it was a brunch diner where everything was served with some kind of jelly--sweet and savory. Strange, but they won!
Anyway, my deep desires to open my own restaurant have serviced while watching this show. Who hasn't thought that it would be cool to open a restaurant! I have. A bakery would be fun, but then I'd get super fat...so that's out. Or maybe I'd get tired of sweets and lose a ton of weight; it's back on the table! In all seriousness, Garrett and I have actually talked about opening up a brewery some day with our friend Travis (what a great guy). Maybe some day...sigh
On a side note, my sister got rear-ended today while I was riding with her. 1) I am super glad that we were not in my nice new Subaru, and 2) I am super glad nothing happened to LURB. (LURB is the fun name we have for Brittney's car. It stands for Little Red Bullet. She drives a red hatchback Ford Focus). There's nothing worse than having to get a car fixed and deal with insurance stuff. Yuck. Although nothing is wrong with the car, I am definitely feeling the effects of the jolt. My back is quite stiff, and I'm sure I will be super sore tomorrow morning. Thanks a lot lady in the white car who hit us! You owe me a massage!

| Here's Brittney with LURB when she first got it. Little did she know what lay in store for it on this cloudy, July afternoon. |
