PERSEVERE!

So, I haven't posted in a little while.  I have been so worn out by my classes, that my creativity has been shot to nothingness (as you may notice after reading this post, sorry).  I am tired from my summer teaching schedule.  I teach an online class and two classes back to back; the first lasts 2.5 hours and the second 3 hours.  It's exhausting.  I think the heat plays a role too.  Once I get out of class and step outside, I just want to run back to my cool house and go to sleep or watch a movie.

With all this said, I don't want to get behind on my blog posts. SO I WILL PERSEVERE!  Now, I'm excited again; I have pumped myself up.  You all have been a witness to me motivating myself and are now a part of the process (Congratulations!).  Right now I can conquer the world, and by world I mean get through grading the papers that are sitting in front of me at this moment.

You're welcome for the Instagram effects, and yes, I'm at Starbucks.

Tomorrow our new washer and dryer come in!  I will be sure and take pictures for those of you who are wetting your pants waiting to see them.  We also ordered a couple of cargo extras for our Subaru that came in yesterday and today!  I love presents!  (Yes, they are presents even though I paid for them)

Oh! and to keep with the month-o-spending trend I mentioned in a previous post, I bought music on amazon.com for the first time a couple of days ago.  Before I brag on myself for finally stepping into the technological age of music, I have to admit that it was kind of an accidental purchase.  I clicked on Buy, thinking it would put my selection in a "shopping chart" type thing, well it didn't.  It immediately gave me a message saying "thank you for your purchase."  I panicked thinking, "what have I done!", but then quickly realized I had only accidentally charged my account a whopping $0.69 and moved on to purchase another while on my mp3 high.  It was invigorating!  I bought an entire album and a single song, then had to remove myself from the site before making an impulse buy of something I have never heard of because it's only $5.  No need to get carried away.

PERSEVERE!

  1. a) I just wet my pants in excitement for your new washer and dryer.
    b) I too get carried away Shane & Shane style on amazon.com's mp3 buying area. It's addictive. I have some of those random albums that were only $5 if you want to check 'em out.
    c) As I said before....
    d) Yes.
